The KM Quest software incorporates two models. A
sophisticated business simulation model drives the KM Quest environment. This allows for realistic feedback on the choices made by the players of the game. After each round of the game key performance indicators
provide you with information on how your organisation performs. These include sales figures, a customer satisfaction index and other general business indicators and knowledge related ones. The team should decide which
indicators to act upon (there is a price to pay!). Besides the business simulation model, the KM Quest Knowledge
Management model (a problem solving model) will guide you through the KM problems you encounter during the game. It helps you to learn how to analyse new situations and choose which Knowledge Management interventions to
implement. The KM Quest Knowledge Management model consists of four main phases, Focus, Organise, Implement, and Monitor. These four phases consist of several sub phases. |
