KM Quest™ has been developed through the KITS project which is part-funded by the EU. The overall objective of the KITS project, which started in May 2000, is to develop and evaluate a learning environment that comprises an educationally supported, distributed business game in the domain of knowledge management.
For those interested in the theoretical background of KITS and KM Quest™, several
articles have been written and more are planned.  Those currently available can be found by following the above link.

The work in this project is being carried out under the IST fifth framework program. Project number is IST-1999-13078
