Port infolink

Direct advantages in terms of time and money
Port infolink is a subsidiary of the Rotterdam Port Authority. Port infolink is developing into the coordinating Port Community System (PCS) of Rotterdam’s port and industrial complex. This port-wide platform contributes to the optimization of the processes that run through the port of Rotterdam by means of (extra) on-line information and communication services.

Added value of the PCS: more efficiency as a result of more accurate planning, quicker turnaround times and fewer mistakes. This leads to cost reductions, a higher level of quality and results in greater competitiveness of Rotterdam’s port.

Involvement DNV-CIBIT
DNV-CIBIT IT Consultants did the global IT architecture of the PCS and supported Port infolink in the past 2,5 years in the detailed technical architecture and in the development and rollout of the system. Also, DNV-CIBIT IT Consultants was involved in setting up the software factory for new application development and in various product and process quality projects to secure maturity of the new organisation fast.
