Putting support measures in place that address those issues is essential. Ignoring those measures has a high price however. Competing rather than collaborating departments, culture differences, daily work pressure, lack of communication tools and places to meet or stubbornness can get in the way. FocusThe workshop focused on the fundamental issue of making the business case for knowledge management within one’s own organisation. Participants were led through a series of worksheets beginning with planning a knowledge management strategy. The exchange of thoughts and ideas throughout provided interesting debate and lively discussion.Who should attend?Anybody with responsibility for managing knowledge in public sector organisations should attend. |
