DNV Academy - CIBIT launches Master Class Information SecurityDNV Academy - CIBIT launched the Master Class Information Security Management. This programme is aimed at IT professionals and is rewarded with an internationally recognised certificate. DNV Academy - CIBIT presents this course in association with the American organisation (ISC)².
The first part of the course will be rounded off with the internationally recognised CISSP-examination. CISSP stands for Certified Information Systems Security Professional and is internationally claimed to be one of the most significant certifications in this field. The second part of the programme deals with European practice. If we compare Europe with the USA, we see that in Europe security has more to do with the issuing of rules than with mere technology.

'Too often automation is held responsible for the security of information, in other words, information security is seen as a technical problem. My device is: risk management, and hence information security, has to be a process which can be managed in a standard manner. With this Master Class DNV Academy - CIBIT has succeeded in putting up a balanced programme. Managers with responsibility for information security will find that this course offers tools for managing information security. In this regard the programme is well attuned to the internationally used standards, such as the Code for Information Security.' says Paul Overbeek, Consultant with KPMG.
An independent Advisory Board, its members being experts from the national government, the business world and the academic world, guarantees the quality of the programme. The Advisory Board also gives advice to DNV Academy - CIBIT on the programme's substance, the choice of visiting lecturers and subjects. |
