 Improvement of IT service delivery
This service line has drawn great interest from DNV-CIBIT's customers and is growing fast. The services are primarily based on the DNV-CIBIT developed IT Service CMM model. This model was developed as a joint project by academia and IT services companies. DNV-CIBIT IT Consultants has developed the research results into a full CMM model for maturity development of IT services organisations, recognized as CMM compliant by US Carnegie Mellon University's SEI. Only this year the full 1.0 version was published, but its industrial adoption started already in 2003 by the ING Direct Bank USA and Rabobank Group in 2004. Besides these two major corporations in the Finance market, various government agencies and other organizations have adopted the ITS CMM model in both the US and Europe.
Although the model is open source and can used by anyone, DNV-CIBIT IT Consultants provides services in the form of assessments and in coaching the implementation of improvements to reach the next maturity level. These services are based on DNV-CIBIT's proprietary Assess to Improve (A2I) methodology. DNV-CIBIT IT Consultants has already gained experience in the implementation of the model from dozens of assessments and numerous improvement projects in various international environments. A group of experienced consultants is available to implement the model effectively. |
